Kasum Contemporary Fine Art’s eclectic consortium of gallery artists are defined by their provocatively bold artworks which challenge the observer as much as the artist; be it through technique, concept, emotion or the sheer deafening volume of compassion behind the work. It is our philosophy that while anyone can create art, artists are rare; true artistry exists in the conception, the delivery and the drive to exceed the expected in all capacities.
Kasum Contemporary strives to nurture the needs and desires of every client. We value our collectors, their interests and quirks by providing an atmosphere which allows for discovery and astute consultations from industry professionals with extensive knowledge on our network of artists. In addition to art sales and leasing services our facility offers collection management, acquisition services, art lighting consultations, and maintenance and relocation services.
The gallery is Oklahoma City's premier contemporary fine art resource and has been recognized by several readerships as Oklahoma City's Best Art Gallery. First established in 2010 in the Paseo District, the gallery relocated to the Plaza District, restructured and re-branded as Kasum Contemporary Fine Art in May of 2014. Focusing on progressive examples of contemporary fine art, the gallery represents established, mid-career and emerging artists of exceptional caliber.
The gallery features exhibit receptions, lectures, demonstrations, pop-up exhibits, interactive installations, special performance events and seasonal patron events. The establishment is open Monday and Tuesday by appointment, Wednesday through Saturday from 11:30am – 7:30pm and Sunday from 10:00am – 2:00pm. Kasum Contemporary Fine Art is located at 1706 NW 16th Street, Oklahoma City, OK 73106 and can be reached by calling 405.604.6602.
The gallery accepts all major credit cards, cash and e-checks for in store purchases. Domestic and international “Away” purchases must be made by contacting the gallery directly by phone or email. The gallery will accepts major credit cards, bank transfer, and certified checks/money orders on domestic and international orders.
In addition to standard purchasing options the gallery also offers lay-away, short term leasing and lease-to-purchase options for qualified individuals and businesses. Leasing artwork can be the perfect solution to the décor decisions you have to make in your office or home space. Leasing is an excellent option for companies or families who love good artwork and variety, but have a budget to consider. The costs can be factored in as a regular monthly fee, representing far less outlay than would be the case with buying works outright.
If it happens that when you have leased a certain piece at Kasum Contemporary Fine Art, you fall in love with it and do not want to return it at the end of the leasing period, you can extend the lease. Alternatively, purchase is an option, with some of the leasing costs deducted from the price of the work. Leasing is a solution that has been embraced by many well-known companies and individuals, and we encourage you to consider it as a possibility for yourself and your home or office space.
We care about our clients. We know that every dollar you spend represents hard work and effort; something everyone likes to see a return on. Whether you are just getting started or you are a seasoned art patron we can help. The gallery maintains an art inventory in excess of 1000 works and a network of over 3,000 artists. If we don't have what you are looking for we can find it or find someone to create it. From the expected to the absurd, if it's art, we'll understand. If you have questions please ask? You will find that we know our artists and their artworks almost as well as they know themselves. We pride ourselves on having friendly, courteous, knowledgeable staff.
